In our city, all elementary schools are on a year round school system. The kids go six weeks to school and then are on a break for three weeks. When they are on their break it is called "tracking off." Last week was our first week off track.
Michelle Hart and I are both on the same track system so our girls are off track at the same time which is very nice! Last Friday morning we took them on their first field trip. Michelle and I were sick when we realized we had both forgotten our cameras. Thank heavens for cameras in cell phones, but my phone is old and thus the grainy pictures from our field trip. I wish I could've had Daren's blackberry - the resolution on those is as good as my digital camera.
We rode our bikes to Hudson Gardens and what a treat that was. The last of the fall dahlias were in full bloom and were as tall as the girls! They were so beautiful.
The little garden also has a miniature train station mimicking downtown Littleton, CO.
The girls found this large pumpkin and tried to wrap their arms around.
All in all it was a pretty fantastic day. The weather was 70's which made our bike ride pleasant and lots of fun.

Cute pics of Maddi! Looks like your Denver fall is like our Detroit fall...nonexistant!?! Flowers still blooming when there should be leaves falling!
Maryn named one of her Barbies "Renae" this weekened and we had a huge conversation about Maddi. Where did her middle name come from?
That sounds like the perfect day...don't you just feel like you need to take advantage of each nice day before the cold and winter sets in?? We love to bike ride at Kensington during this time of year, not too hot and not too cold! I love the pumpkin picture...very fun!
